Spring = Happiness

"Gov. Mike Rounds signed legislation Monday banning nearly all abortions in South Dakota, setting up a court fight aimed at challenging the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion. " CBS NEWS

God has victory today!  Tears well up in my eyes just thinking about it.  I never thought that this could happen in our country so soon.  "Maybe in twenty years," I thought.  But oh, I have such little faith!  God is so powerful.  I feel like a war has just ended in South Dakota, thus saving thousands of lives.  The law goes into affect July 1st.  I am so awed at God's control. He has so much mercy on us.

All those babies, saved.  All those mothers, saved too.

Of course, thousands of people are in mad hot pursuit of destroying this new law.  Even President Bush said, "I will not sign anything that does not make exceptions for rape or incest."  The governor replied, "The unborn baby shouldn't have to suffer for rape or incest.  There are other ways."  !  Missippi is trying to pass this law right now.

I wonder if our country will split over this.  In a way, abortion is like slavery.  It is taking control over the right of someone else's life.  People were willing to lay down their life to free America of slavery, I wonder what sacrifices we would be willing to make to free America of abortion.  S. Dakota and Missippi declare abortion illigal, but California and Vermont adamantly rebuke them and claim themselves as pro abortion.  Suddenly, every state is taking sides.  Would our country split over this?  Would we fight over this? Just thoughts.  I pray it never comes to that, but that everything goes beautifully.

I wish to live in a way that in either boxing or marathons, joy will always win.

Both Joy and Melancholy are very contagious.  But if they ever boxed together, melancholy would usually be the champion.  A melancholy person can triumph over even intense joys.   It's amazing how creative and intense people become when they want to be sad!  They can come up with anything to keep them in their melancholy state.  However, if Joy and Melancholy ran in a marathon, Joy would win every time.  It's because Joy is extraterrestrial, and Melancholy is natural.  Joy gets much deeper inside of your soul.

By 10:00 at night it feels like I have lived a lifetime already.

If I stay up any later I will be a zombie.
